Musicianship

Singer

While I have been singing since I can remember, I have been formally trained as such since 2010 under Melissa Daniels and from 2013 on with Charles 'Chic' Walker. Through my Westminster training I have become an adept sight reader allowing me to walk into a choral rehearsal without looking at the music beforehand.  I am  an active member of the World Class  choir from Westminster  Kantorei .

Pianist

Originally a self taught pianist by ear since 2007, I have since taken group piano classes at Westminster along with advanced keyboard harmony courses. While I do not consider myself a professional pianist, I am extremely comfortable playing choral rehearsals and private voice lessons.

Conductor/Director

Guitarist

Through my teaching experience as well as at Westminster I have gained experience conducting choirs as well as Pit orchestras for musicals. I music directed two shows (Godspell, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) under the Westminster Players, as well as I have prepared the pit and composed music for two main stage Rider University plays with music (A Doctor In Spite of Himself, Ubu Roi)
Originally picking up the guitar at a young age and putting it back down, I once again picked up the guitar and Ukelele under Dr. Sharon Morrow and Dr. Donna Gallo at Westminster becoming good enough to play popular tunes.
